The Dragon Ball Z series is one of the most popular action anime, not just that it’s one of the most amazing anime series of all time. It helped shape the genre of action anime and was an inspiration to many action series that are taking over the world these days.
The most appealing and exciting parts of Dragon Ball Z are certainly epic fight scenes that are taking place throughout the whole series. They are full of various battle scenes, friendship, martial arts, moral messages, and retrospective elements that follow Goku and his friends into a confrontation with their enemies that are a threat to the Earth and the whole universe. Personally, Dragon Ball Z put a lot of effort to make the evilest, strategist evil minds that are too unique and complex to be seen anywhere else.

The most memorable and wondrous point of this battle is Vegeta managing to transform into a Super Saiyan for the first time. Throughout the series, he’s always strived to become better than Goku, and just like Goku’s rage over Frieza killing Krillin made him become super Saiyan, Vegeta’s hatred towards Goku and aim to prove himself the strongest made Vegeta become the Super Saiyan.
Despite being dreadful and fearless, androids didn’t stand a chance against Vegeta. His cold and dark nature allowed him to toy, demoralize and destroy Android 19, leaving nothing but his head after the fight.
The outcome of this battle is of utmost importance for the flow of this series. Most of the series is being followed by the endless rivalry between Goku and Vegeta, but it’s their first conflict that takes away the breath from the audience. They trade punches, kicks, beam attacks, and much more, but perhaps without this battle, the ones that come after would’ve been lost and much more tragic.
This list wouldn’t be complete without Frieza. Frieza is the most complex, and original character in the Dragonball series. This battle has a lot to offer, but more than anything this battle reveals Goku’s super Saiyan powers for the first time.
Frieza’s ego eventually leads villain into his own defeat. Also, a dying planet, that is about to be destroyed in 5 minutes, adds a lot to the value of this battle.
Definitely, the most emotional and epic battle of all time. Especially the touching moment of a father-son Kamehameha. Gohan certainly had a lot of pressure on himself, but with support of Vegeta and sacrificial support from his father he managed to take his chance and defeat Cell.
At the end, Gohan managed to save the day and defeat Perfect Cell. This battle is so emotional and touching, especially of the heartful background music when Gohan gives Cell one last blast.
