Also known as Tao Pai Pai, Mercenary Tao, is a paid assassin together with his older brother Master Shen. Mercenary Tao is extremely skilled at using weapons and is able to fight without any fear of death.
He is also very aggressive and without pity to his enemies and to those he has been hired to kill, even when they are children. In fact, he tried to kill Goku when he was just a child.
He has, at one point, been hired by the Red Ribbon Army to kill Goku. Later on, he has also been transformed into a cyborg.
He will realize however that he is not as strong as he thought he was, especially not against Goku. He even became hesitant of fighting Gohan after finding out that Gohan is the son of Goku.
